Aggressive KLASE Playstyle
How to use Heavy Attack, Slam, and Stomp without donating free Block/Parry windows.
Aggressive KLASE players start fights. They take the middle of a classroom. They walk toward the noise in the courtyard. Their home keys are R Heavy Attack, G Slam, and T Stomp. That cluster sits in A on the playstyle ranking because it wins space and still loses to a calm F.
This page is not a character bio. You can wear any avatar. If your first idea is to press R, you are the audience.
What aggressive actually does
You use Heavy Attack to make people respect a lane. You use Slam when more than one body is in the lane, or when someone is already off-balance. You use Stomp when they are on the floor. You still need Q Dash to arrive and F Block/Parry to not die to the person who expected you. Aggressive without Dash is a straight line. Aggressive without Parry is a highlight for someone else.
The moves ranking already told you R is A, G and T are B. That is the honest kit. You are choosing to live in the convert keys, which means you must earn the convert.
When to commit R
Commit Heavy Attack when:
- The other player just whiffed Slam or Glory Finisher.
- You Dashed onto someone who is still swinging at a third person.
- You have a wall, desk, or doorway behind them so they cannot walk away for free.
Do not commit R when:
- You can already see them holding still, waiting.
- You are the only one in a courtyard and they have room to kite.
- You have not checked the door. A 50-player server loves to punish tunnel vision.
If you cannot tell the difference yet, read builds on when to hold F versus commit R. That decision is the whole skill floor.
Slam and Stomp without turning into a bot
Slam is for crowds and downed players, not for opening a duel at twenty steps. Stomp is for the floor, not for a standing opponent who still has a Dash. Aggressive players get addicted to the sound of those two keys. Break the addiction with a rule: no G or T until R or a knockdown has already happened, unless you are in a packed classroom where everyone is already overlapping.
Classroom note: this is where aggressive is happiest. Furniture stops kiting. Slam catches two people who thought they were in a 1v1. Stomp finishes the one who crawled behind a chair. Courtyard note: take Dash-ins, throw one Heavy Attack, and be ready to leave. Endless Slam fishing in the open is how defensive players farm you.
The parry problem
Every aggressive habit dies on F. That is not a moral lecture. It is the S-tier key. If you notice the same person eating your R, stop feeding. Walk, Dash, wait, or Crouch for a second so the hold drops. Then hit. The how to parry page is written for the defender, but aggressors should read it so they recognize the pose they keep running into.
Glory Finisher is not an aggressive opener. It is the convert after Slam or Stomp has already done work. Pressing E because you are impatient is how you become the classroom piƱata. Put E on the end of a sequence, the way combo ideas describes, not on the front.
Third parties
KLASE servers hold up to 50 people. Aggressive players create noise, and noise is a beacon. After a convert, leave. Dash to a door. Do not celebrate in the open courtyard. The next two players are already walking toward the animation.
If you want the knockout and the clip, you still leave after the clip. Survival is how you stay aggressive for the rest of the session instead of respawning into a worse angle.
Practice plan
- Warm up on the controls guide so R, G, and T are not a hunt.
- Play one courtyard session where Dash is mandatory before every Heavy Attack.
- Play one classroom session where Slam is allowed only after contact.
- After each death, name the key that beat you. If it was F, you were readable. If it was Q, you were late. If it was E, you stayed on a body too long.
- Run the fight checklist once per session so you do not confuse a bad habit with a bad server.
How this role sits next to the others
Defensive is the answer to you. Mix-up is how people hide from you in desks. Finisher hunters are waiting for the mess you create. You can steal all three: Dash like a defensive player to enter, Crouch like a mix-up player at a desk, then throw the aggressive convert. That hybrid is still aggressive if R remains your scoring key.
Return to the players hub when you need the reminder that none of this is a named hero. Return to how to win when you keep winning the first swing and losing the fight. Aggressive is allowed. Aggressive on loop is not a personality, it is a pattern, and patterns get parried.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for KLASE combat, codes, and campus fights.
Which keys define aggressive KLASE?
Heavy Attack, Slam, and Stomp. You still need Dash to arrive and Block/Parry to survive people who expect the rush.
Should I open every fight with Slam?
No. Slam is for crowds and already-downed players. Opening with it in a courtyard is easy to see and easy to punish.
Why do I keep losing to people who barely attack?
You are swinging into Block/Parry. Stop committing Heavy Attack on a still target. Dash, wait, then hit after the hold drops.
Is Glory Finisher part of aggressive play?
As a convert, yes. As an opener, no. Use it after Slam or Stomp has already put someone in trouble.
