KLASE Pre-Fight Checklist
Run this before you dash: camera, lock if you use it, parry ready, glory saved, groups watched, space chosen.
Most KLASE deaths are not mysterious. The camera was wrong, the glory finisher was already spent, a group of five was in the courtyard, or you took a classroom fight like it was an open field. This checklist is the pre-fight pass you run in the first seconds after spawn and again after each respawn. It sits beside the control sheet, not on top of the long combat guide.
KLASE puts up to 50 players on a Philippine school campus and inside its classrooms. R6 bodies are easy to read if you look. They are impossible to read if your camera is in the floor. Work the list in order. Skip a box only when you can say why.
1. Camera first
Before you touch Q, move the camera. You want to see doorways, stair lips, and the cluster of students that is about to become a pile. Too close and slam/stomp reads disappear. Too far and you lose the F timing on a heavy. There is no official KLASE camera slider published in the materials we have, so use Roblox’s camera mode and sensitivity until tracking a dashing player is comfortable.
If you cannot see over a desk line in a classroom, you are not ready to throw R. Reset the camera, then fight. This is the cheapest win on the list.
2. Shift lock only if you already use it
Roblox shift lock is a platform feature, not a KLASE-specific toggle listed in the official control line. If you already play battlegrounds with shift lock, keep it. If you do not, do not enable it mid-round because a random chat said so. Locking the camera to your facing helps some players track dashes; it hurts others in tight classrooms where you need independent look. Pick a mode in a quiet corner, then commit for the session. Switching every death is how you walk into a stomp.
Controller and mobile players: ignore shift lock advice that assumes a Shift key. Use whatever lock-on or camera-lock Roblox gives you on that device, or none. The rest of this checklist still applies.
3. Know F before you know anything flashy
Block/parry is on the official kit for a reason. If your fingers (or thumb) cannot find F, do not take a courtyard fight. Tap the key once after spawn so you feel it. The how to parry page is the practice plan. This box is only: can you press it without looking down.
Do not hold F the entire walk from spawn. Panic-block in an open campus run makes you slow and readable. Hold or tap when you see a heavy, a slam, or a player who only has glory on the brain. If someone is auto-parrying every hit, that is a cheater problem for script safety, not a reason to drop your own F.
4. Do not waste E
Glory finisher is a named move with its own key. Treat it like a closer, not a jab. If you burn E on the first exchange, you will watch someone else take the body with T or a third-party heavy. The how to win habit is patience; this checklist is the reminder at spawn: E is unused, keep it that way until the finisher is actually there.
If you missed a glory last life, do not “make up for it” by throwing E the instant you see a player. That is how classrooms fill with failed finishers and free punishes.
5. Watch groups, not just the nearest body
Fifty players means you are never in a duel for long. Before you dash at the closest student, look past them. Count silhouettes in the courtyard. Listen for a pile in a hallway. If three people are already trading, your job is to decide whether you are a third party or a victim. Aggressive players still need this look; see the aggressive page. Defensive players use it to refuse the courtyard; see defensive.
Chasing a single kill through a group is how you donate a stomp. The checklist item is a glance, not a lecture. If the count is high, take a side door or wait for the pile to finish.
6. Campus versus classroom
Campus / courtyard. Space favors dash (Q) and camera. Heavies are easier to see coming. You can lose people around buildings. Do not crouch in the open and expect desks that are not there. Third parties arrive on long lines; keep an exit dash.
Classroom. Desks, doors, and walls compress the kit. Slam (G) and stomp (T) matter more when bodies share a rug. Crouch (Ctrl) actually hides. Dash can throw you into a wall or a cluster. Parry windows feel faster because recoveries have nowhere to run. If you take a classroom fight with a campus brain (constant Q, never Ctrl), you will eat the slam.
Pick the space on purpose. If you are losing open fights, take a room and force short trades. If you are losing rooms, leave through the door instead of mashing G in a corner. The playstyles page is the longer version of this split.
7. After you die, reset the list
Respawn is a new round of the same checklist, not a rage dash back to the player who killed you. Camera, lock, F, E unused, groups, space. If you skip this, you will repeat the death. If a pattern keeps happening, leave the tool and open a guide: combos for strings, builds for how you think about your kit, getting started if you still do not know the map.
What this checklist is not
It is not a script. It will not auto-parry. It is not a codes reminder; the Codes Hub is empty. It is not a substitute for the Tools Hub control table. Run both. Then join from the official KLASE game page and take one clean life where you hit every box. One clean life teaches more than ten messy ones.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for KLASE combat, codes, and campus fights.
Do I have to use shift lock in KLASE?
No. Shift lock is a Roblox option, not an official KLASE key. Use it only if it already helps your camera. The required fight keys are on the control sheet.
What is the single most important box on this list?
F (block/parry) ready, with camera high enough to see the heavy. Practice on how to parry if that box fails.
How is a classroom fight different from campus?
Classrooms compress slam, stomp, and crouch. Campus favors dash and long camera reads. Choose on purpose instead of using the same plan in both.
Should I spend E glory as soon as I find a fight?
No. Save the glory finisher for a real close. Wasting E is one of the checklist fails this page exists to stop. See also how to win.
Where do I go after this checklist?
Back to the Tools Hub, or into the combat guide if you want the long version of these habits.
